Experience design thinking, live and local
As part of Marketing Week Vancouver, Domain7 is inviting you to a full-day immersive design thinking workshop. Through hands-on exercises, you will get a chance to experience design thinking—live and local with your peers and Domain7's design thinking experts.
Who is this workshop for?
At Domain7, we’ve seen over and over again how well-implemented, human-centered design thinking fosters change and innovation. It is instrumental in helping people and organizations become more creative, break out of their set ways and assumptions and reorient themselves towards the possibilities of the future.
If you’re eager to stretch your thinking and become a champion for innovative solutions within and outside of your organization, this workshop is for you.
For curious minds…
You don’t have to be a designer to engage in design thinking and everyone can benefit from it.
Whether you’re just curious about what design thinking is, or you have a concrete challenge in mind you’d like to solve: the tools we’ll teach you at Design Thinking Day will help you problem-solve more efficiently—and have fun at the same time. All you need to bring is a curious mindset.
What are the takeaways?
Creative problem-solving exercises you can bring back to your team or practice by yourself.
A set of concrete, people-centric tools that will help you generate new ideas, solve complex challenges and define new opportunities.
Techniques to build your creative confidence and start transformation within your organization.
I would recommend this workshop to anyone in new product development and business development. And for solving any wicked problems in social space

What our learners say
In the past, we had the pleasure to teach design thinking to innovative changemakers such as MEC, Kit and Ace and A&W. Here's what our learners had to say about their experience.
“I was most inspired by working with a mixed group of people. It challenged me to explain myself more clearly, but also brought so many ideas to the mix. I’m actually going to meet with one of my group members to brainstorm about the idea that we came up with.”
"Great content. Fantastic facilitator. 5-gold-star experience!”
“I would recommend this workshop to anyone in new product development and business development—and for solving any wicked problems in social space.”
Meet your facilitators
I’m a UX Designer at Domain7 with a firm belief in design thinking as a mindset that can transform society and the world we live in. For the last two years, I have been actively teaching design thinking workshops to Domain7’s clients. What I enjoy most about my role as a facilitator is the opportunity to come alongside people and—through mentorship and empathy—help them explore design thinking in a safe, fun and productive space.
I’m Domain7’s Director of Engagement Strategy. I had the great pleasure to learn from one of the premier schools for design thinking and collaboration, the THNK School of Creative Leadership, and I have been practicing and evolving facilitation approaches for the last five years. Something that blows me away every time when I lead a design thinking workshop is the magic that happens when a community comes together to problem-solve: it’s that mindset of ‘we’ that changes everything.
Domain7 is a people-centric digital service studio. We co-design and build purposeful experiences.
Design thinking is deeply ingrained in the ways we work. Over the years, we’ve facilitated countless workshops and have gained hands-on experience teaching design thinking to people from a wide range of professional backgrounds.
Our staff has learned from leading design thinking organizations, such as IDEO U, Adaptive Path, THNK School of Creative Leadership and Google Ventures.
