The Project
Baby Gourmet was poised for expansion into the United States when they realized that that their website wasn’t up to snuff for such a huge market! They needed a site that was sophisticated enough to reach the working moms who love their organic baby food.
Domain7 analyzed Baby Gourmet’s competitors, their target audience and their long-term business goals. With that research in place, a web strategy was born. A total overhaul of their existing web presence was in order. We included a bunch of customer-friendly features in the build: a blog run by an expert nutritionist, a branded store locater, and differing Canadian and American versions of the site.
Along the way, Baby Gourmet found their social media strategy lacking, and came to us for a plan. Our strategy team developed a ‘Word-of-Mom’ Facebook campaign—encouraging moms to post photos of their baby enjoying Baby Gourmet—that drove site traffic up by 150%.
