Run for Water is a different kind of client. As a charitable run raising support for clean water development in Ethiopia, it is a cause that the Domain7 employees are personally invested in. Run for Water holds a huge annual event (read: party) in both Abbotsford and Calgary, complete with marathons, half-marathons, fun runs, live entertainment, and a whole lot of community, with 100% of the proceeds going to Hope International and their work in Ethiopia.

Domain7 has worked with Run for Water in the past. We developed a website for them on an older, proprietary CMS called ‘Route 1’ which they outgrew with their expansion to Calgary. By developing a new CMS, we were able to effectively host both the Abbotsford and Calgary sites on two joined but distinct domains, linked by a button allowing the user to switch to the other city. Domain7 was able to deliver on a professional site that is pleasing to the eye, while supporting the organization by building the site as an in-kind charitable donation.
